How It Works
Direct drive models use a directly mounted hydraulic motor, while planetary models are powered by a gear drive system. The motor turns the output shaft, which is connected to an auger bit to drill into the ground.
Because skid steer augers can quickly drill deep and precise holes into the ground-even extremely hard surfaces, such as rocks or frozen ground-they are ideal for setting straight, firm fence or sign posts. In most cases, the process of digging these holes using an auger only takes a few seconds
Design
The skid steer auger has 18 months warranty. With an innovative elaborate design with fewer internal components that are completely sealed, which is ready to tackle any job. The compact housing design and hoses routed out the top allows deeper digging in tight locations, and it can gain faster drilling speeds from higher capacity hydraulics to get through rock-hard materials (by using rock auger head).
